Pilot Reports - What Goes On Up Front   by: Captain Ray Stark

At the request of some of the folks on the board, I have been asked to do flight reports from the viewpoint of the pilot. Hopefully, by reading what goes through the mind of your pilot, you should take some comfort in realizing that there is much planning and training that goes on behind the scenes before and during each flight.

Regional Jet FAQ   by: FO John Robinson
Here’s John’s “Everything you always wanted to know about Regional Jets but were afraid to ask” thread. I’m going to start it off with some of my previous posts-there were some GREAT questions in there from you guys and gals, and my answers.

So I’m going to start it off with the basics of each RJ-some general info, links to photos, and their some links to outside sources for your enjoyment. Then, I’ll have every question that I’ve been asked about the RJ’s that I’ve kept. And then, it’s open to even more of your questions! Enjoy!

This is a random collection of stuff I have written. I'll keep adding to it periodically. Hope it answers some of your questions!

Where do pilots come from? How do they get started?   by: Allison
Many people wonder how airline pilots get to be airline pilots. How does a person get started in aviation? How do they build experience before getting that all-important commuter job? Allison has offered to explain all that for us in a running blog-thread. We'll keep this thread closed to keep it on-track and readable. If you have any questions, just start a new thread titled, "Allison Question." She'll get to it as soon as she can.
